Andrea Ang is a photographer and creative director based between Manila and New York. She holds an MPS in Digital Photography from the School of Visual Arts New York. 

Working as a visual anthropologist, Ang is concerned with memory, referencing archives, history, material culture, and the realities of remembering and forgetting. Ang’s work is focused on the storytelling of Asian culture, particularly those surrounding the haziness of memory and oral history in family and migration, society and coloniality, beauty and perception, food and its systems, and the development of cities and culture.

ang also previously held editor positions at vogue philippines (2023-2024), rogue media (2014-2017), and l’officiel manila (2014-2017). in between, she has freelanced for publications and brands as a photographer, writer, creative producer, fashion stylist, and set stylist.

Ang also has previous certificates in Textile Design and Art Curation from Central Saint Martins London.
